Greetings and Felicitations!

My name is Deborah J. Martin but I'm generally known as "DJ". Straight up, I'm a witch (you can change the "w" to a "b" - I won't argue with you). I have always use herbs in my magical workings, which necessitates a lot of studying and experimentation. More than that, for over twenty years I've been studying Cherokee and Western medical herbalism, earning my Master Herbalist (Honors) diploma from the American College of Healthcare Sciences.

A seasoned lecturer and writer, I contribute frequently to publications on the use of herbs both magically and medicinally. I'm a member of the American Herbalists' Guild and the Herb Society (UK). When not writing or playing in the garden, I run my online store, Thistle & Moon.

I am fortunate enough to live in the mountains of north Georgia with my wonderfully-tolerant husband, four cats and numerous woodland creatures.
